About

My name is Melissa H. Baldwin. I live in Columbia, Missouri.

I studied genealogy at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland (online program) through their Genealogical, Palaeographic (old handwriting) & Heraldic Studies (coat of arms or shields) program. Their website is at https://www.strath.ac.uk/courses/postgraduatetaught/genealogicalpalaeographicheraldicstudies/ I have experience researching online or digital resources and archives that still use paper.

I discovered my love for teaching in 1996 when I taught preschool as a part of my Bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on child development. I have used my degree to teach my kids and homeschool groups. I have also done church service that involves teaching and organizing meetings. I am currently teaching English to children and adults around the world via VIPKid and Cambly.

I worked at the University of Missouri (MU) for 17 years as a telecommuter coordinating their internal funding research programs and meetings and giving presentations.
