Chicken Rice Soup (Basic and Quick)

  • Oil, 1 TBSP Canola or other
  • Onion, 1 large or equivalent
  • Carrots, 1 pound
  • Celery, 1 bunch
  • Chicken broth, Rachel Ray Stock-In-A-Box, Two – 32 oz boxes
  • Garlic powder, 1 tsp
  • Rice, 3 TBSP White
  • Chicken breast , 1

Heat the oil in soup pan on medium. Add onions and cook until they start to become transparent. Add carrots, celery, chicken broth, garlic, and chicken breast. Cook until chicken breast and rice are done. Remove chicken breast, shred the chicken and return it to the soup pan.
